External evaluation processes of higher education institutions in Turkey are carried out regularly by the Higher Education Quality Board (Y脰KAK) within the scope of External Evaluation and Monitoring Programs. In this context, higher education institutions that have been evaluated within the scope of the Institutional External Evaluation Program carried out by Y脰KAK are included in the Monitoring Program in the second year following the evaluation year at the earliest.

On September 26, 2022, the 90th anniversary of the Language Day, 鈥淭he Workshop on Teaching Turkish in Turkey and in the World鈥� was organized by the Center of Research and Development of Turkish and Language Education (TDEARGEM) which operates under the Ministry of National Education Board of Education and Discipline. The workshop was held in the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World this year, Bursa. Speaking at the session of the workshop titled 鈥淚nstitutions and their Roles in Teaching Turkish to Bilinguals鈥�, Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Y谋ld谋z made his presentation titled 鈥淏ilingualism and Language Acquisition鈥� supported by field data.
